You might have seen and followed our adventure last April when @amylouisehatch and I were photographing at Les Marguerites. It wasn’t so much about the accommodation itself this time, but more about all the other things that owner Marielle does.

We did a series of lifestyle shoots. Besides running the gîte, she cooks the most amazing meals for her guests and for guests of other accommodations—think al fresco dining at long, beautifully set tables, enjoying delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients Marielle sources from the local market.

Marielle is also a professional masseuse, and as a guest at Les Marguerites, you can book a relaxing massage in the adjacent salon. She even offers massages in the most tranquil spots in nature and is available for bookings if you're vacationing elsewhere in the Dordogne. Amy and I captured both of these services in an atmospheric way.

In two weeks, we’re heading back to spend two more days with Marielle to shoot even more content—and, of course, enjoy a wonderful massage ourselves.

I'm heading back to @videpot_dordogne soon for another shoot. I've already photographed there three times. The house has been in the family for decades and was taken over a few years ago by Bianca and her husband, who have been upgrading it and making it more their own ever since.

Recently, they even purchased the neighbor's barn, which will be transformed into a beautiful accommodation this winter. No photos to capture there yet but...

Next week, I'll be capturing the newly renovated kitchen and living room. Can't wait!
