 LET ME FIRST INTRODUCE YOU
TO THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SHOTS

WIDESHOTS

With these photos you show a lot of the room. The trick is to find the right angle to take this photo. I usually stand in a corner of the room and then take the picture.

ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE

The one-point perspective creates a strong composition. These photos are great for social media and website headers. Always make sure that the lines (vertical and horizontal) are straight!

VIGNET

Great in small spaces or to break up large spaces with separate rooms. With these kinds of photos you create ‘a moment’. You show a lifestyle feeling.

The photos strongly depend on the styling, you tell a story here. Think about the activities that take place in that space, and use the right props.

DETAIL

Detailed photos are made to show all the crucial qualities that are often lost in wide pictures! You show things like material, textures, patterns and craftsmanship.

TRANSITION

To help potential guests feel what it’s like to walk around the room, transition photos are great.

Walk through your accommodation and look for a viewpoint that shows you the rooms that are connected to each other. Views through doorways are perfect for this.

INDOOR – OUTDOOR

Do you look from the living room on your terrace? Does the bedroom have a fantastic view of the surroundings? Do you look at the garden from the kitchen window?

Capture this as well.
