When my client Claudia told me she had sold her two wonderful accommodations La Bessaronie and La Petite Truffe and was looking for something new, I thought oooooh no, but I knew immediately that another gorgeous accommodation would take its place
And she found it! After an extensive search, she discovered a beautiful gem of a house to renovate in the heart of the Dordogne.
CREATING A BEAUTIFUL STAY
With her previous renovation experience, her background as an interior designer, her passion for scouring brocantes and vide-greniers and a wealth of her own interior gems in the storage, it was certain that another exquisite hideaway would be created
A HIDEAWAY TO EMBRACE FRENCH LIFE, FIND REST AND INSPIRATION’.
Because once again Claudia has worked her magic and transformed ‘My Little Escape in France’ into an enchanting place. Where solo female travellers can escape their busy daily lives and crave relaxation in the beautiful French countryside.
It is a perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in French life. Think visiting brocantes and local markets, exploring medieval villages and majestic chateaus, hiking in nature or actively canoeing up the Dordogne river.
And My little Escape in France is also the perfect place for a workation. To finally finish that book, paint or photograph in peace, finish that one project, etc.
CAPTURING THIS BEAUTY
April last year, in the middle of the chaos of reconstruction, I visited Claudia when I was in the Dordogne for photo shoots. I could already see a glimpse of what it would eventually look like. A year later, last April, it was finally time for the photo shoot at My little Escape in France.
I had already received some snapshots from Claudia and some videos, gosh, the end result, it really turned out beautiful.
It was a pleasure to capture everything and so nice to work with my friend, creative director Amy, she did the photo styling.
I could not stop photographing and then I knew it again, I am working for my dream client, I am photographing an accommodation that in terms of color palette and interior is completely in my style and where I would love to stay myself.
